THE FALCON HAS LANDED!!!

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

Major Falcon has landed!!

His bus is in Columbus and I just talked with him on the phone!! He's doing great and is hoping to come up for the BG-Miami game!!!!! If he can, we will have the BEST tailgate ever!!!!

WELCOME HOME, MITCH!!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOU DID TO KEEP US SAFE AND FREE!!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Hey! I'll be at the Miami(OH) game... it'll be a damn fine tailgate regardless! :-D

Welcome home Mitch!

I don't know if they followed up on it or not, but as of yesterday it looked like Ch. 10 in Columbus was going to cover the party today. Their website is www.10tv.com but I don't see anything up there yet.

Interestingly enough, I found this while Google Newsing around to see if anyone else covered it:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 518_5.html

Again, welcome home!

I can tolerate it, knowing that deep inside you're dying to be a Falcon fan! :-D

Special thanks to UTRocket Man and the great homecoming.

I will be heading up to BG for the Miami game on Wednesday.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Still tailgaiting in the same place? What time are folks arriving?

Actually, we all decided not to go while you were flying back. It's gonna be a little cold, and Flipper's trying to cut down trees with a chainsaw in each hand that night. You're welcome to tailgate there, though! :-D

(But yeah, I imagine the tailgate will be in the same place. I think somewhere in the 4-5pm slot is when I'm looking to get there, maybe earlier, who knows... welcome home, hope to see ya then!)

I'm actually quite handy with a chainsaw...it's the axes that give me trouble.

I did come close to blowing up my shed last weekend.

I raked up a big pile of leaves and lit it. I didn't realize it would burn as hot as it did. I stood there watching the inferno that sat approximately 5 feet from my garden shed and counted the number of half full gas gans and full LP tanks I had in there.

Sure...I could have gotten the hose and put it out...but it was waaaay over on the other side of the yard. Who the hell wants to walk all the way over there?
