Banquet...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Josh and I had a great time at the banquet and we sat with Spart43, BGSU 96 and BGSU 99. Depsite the disappointing season, I was very pleased to see the players in great spirits. That had to be tough when the season didn't pan out like we wanted but IMO, it seems the returning players are ready to forget this year and work their asses off to get back to the top. Comments made by Coach Brandon, to me, showed he realized the mistakes that were made and what needs to be done to correct them. I have to admit I am feeling much better about our chances in 2007 than a couple weeks ago. Of course, time will tell but it should be an interesting spring and summer camp.

One thing to report....EVERY Senior is on pace to earn his degree!!! THAT'S what I'm talking about. The comments by this year's SR class were the best I've ever heard. You guys will be missed in a BiG way. Thanks for being Falcons! Sitting next to the cheerleaders table was a bonus... :-D Very nice tribute to Jean Panning, who is retiring after 32 years of service to BG Football...she is an awesome lady!!

Only 4 months til the spring game...and 8 1/2 til kickoff.

Forget 06, get er done in 07.

GO FALCONS!!!

I can't wait til Spring Game gets here. I don't know how I'm excited about BG football right now, but I just miss beating the crap out of other teams! :D
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Ummm....yeah. I had my cell on waiting for her call and I thought she was going to come to the game? We ended up parking by the Education building and changing in there. I was disappointed as well.

Have I ever mentioned that I don't trust short people?

You shouldn't trust short people. We don't know what it is that they're up to down there close to the ground, but I'm sure it's just plain wrong

Don't know how I missed your responses on this thread...but BO and Flip---you big guys are in BIG TROUBLE!! Just remember, the taller you are, the easier it is for me to get to your.....ummm.....nevermind..... :smt027
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

FF...if you're referencing what I think you are...forget it. Pam officially removed them on 07/10/1993.
