You wasted the streak on Ohio? You guys have to be more selective in the future. :)

"Wasted"?? I'd say they sustained the streak on Ohio. All part of a very selective process, until Temple gets a wild hair in their ass...

My preference would be 6 p.m. starts early in the season and 1 p.m. starts later.

There is a reason many northern college football stadiums went without permanent lighting for so long. It's rarely too hot to play a game, and it's frequently awfully cold.

So that would be my preference -- but we should never try to go head to head with Ohio State and we need to make sacrafices to get on ESPN.

So, despite my preferences, we are at the mercy of other factors.

I like the 6 or 7 PM starts early in the season and 4 PM in late Oct and Nov.

Only 3 months til the spring game.

6 or 7 o'clock kickoffs extend my tailgates until about midnight GMT, which makes for a pretty long day. Apart from increased entertainment overheads, sometimes I forget what the tailgate was for.
