True. I read this...Western Kentucky will submit paperwork to the NCAA office before June 1 and will be considered a reclassifying school for the 2007 and '08 seasons.

So, will WKU be 1-A or 1-AA for the next two seasons?

The point was Springer became a D Coordinator instead of being a position coach.

I believe one reason Coach McCall was offered the OC position immediately, was that he also had some other "irons in the fire", and this was a means of keeping him at BG.
I think all you need to know about Studs leaving is that he will make about $200,000 as the OL coach at LSU!!! I would go to LSU to double my salary too. The cost of living in Baton Rouge isn't exactly the highest in the country either.
