What it's all about!!

Check out 1987alum's latest about his weekend at BG with Noah! This, my friends, is what Falcon Football is all about!!

My only regret is I didn't get to meet Karl and Noah on this trip. I'm sure we'll hook up at the bowl game though!!

Boy, it sure got a little "dusty" in here after reading that.
He is really blessed to have such a fine young son. And Noah is a credit to his parents.
Thanks for sharing that.

Great stuff!!!!
My "little boy" (he's 24 now) is making a 4 hr trip this weekend to see the Falcons play, and he didn't even go to school here, but he still bleeds orange. Hell, I'm excited about that!!

87,
It was great to see you two again... and I think I've posted it on another thread...you're more than welcome to spend a nite or two in beautiful downtown Sagamore Hills when you come back up for a game next year. I didn't know about the sideline passes, didn't see you guys down there, but I think I'd "freak out" (sorry Mike) if I had the chance to do that.

Thanks to all who helped make the weekend so special. It was great to meet so many people and have such a blast.

Thanks for the kind words, too. Honestly, writing about our BG football experiences is the easiest thing in the world because they're so much fun :!:

Gotta add my two cents in here!! Awesome article, as always, but this one was pretty special!!! It was a true pleasure meeting the two of you. So glad your karma was working well that day!! What a great kid you have and what a great Dad he has!!! Can't wait for the two of you to come back again!!! Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us!!! This board is the best!!!!!! AZZ ROCKS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
