According to the Blade's John Wagner on their site today, if there's a 4 way tie for the West title, it goes to BG. Of course, that involves us losing to Marshall and beating UT, and EMU winning out, but its nice to know that even a loss to Marshall (which I really don't see happening, but it could) might not knock us out of contention.
The first tie breaker is record among the 4 tied teams. We would be 2-1, UT would be 2-1, NIU and EMU would be 1-2.
Next tie breaker (between us and UT) is head to head, and we would have won that.
alll other scenarios should be pretty cut and dry by now with everyone having played everyone else.
So even if we lose this weekend (which I don't see happening!), we are still in the same boat no matter what. Eastern has to beat NIU and we have to beat UT. Simple as that.

Exactly. Except that we're EMU fans this week as well as next. (They're at Kent State, so it shouldn't be THAT hard to root for them! )
The only scenario I care about is the one where BG is 9-2. I don't even want to start talking about those type of what ifs. Don't give any thought or power to any other outcome.
BOTTOM LINE: BG WIL BE 9-2...PERIOD. BG WILL PLAY IN A BOWL GAME...PERIOD.
