Hmmm, I live just west of the fairgrounds in the "Bird" section.

Dr. Hayward just informed us that all of the FMB members she choses for next year's leadership will be required to play at the spring game this year. She also confirmed that we ARE getting a new field, so that puts away the last glimmer of hope for keeping the grass. She hasn't mentioned anything to us about the spring game being at the high school however.

And it is field turf or similar substance.[/quote

No, the BGHS field is grass. Also, you guys could probably tailgate at either someone's house near the HS or over at the fairgrounds (about a block away). Just an idea.
No, he/she meant the game is at BGHS b/c the Doyt is getting "field turf" put in. Orr whatever it's called.
I stand corrected. Sorry about that!

That sounds like the start of a joke. Now Mr. Strouse, what were the Rabbi Priest and goat doing there too?

one of the things i don't like about the spring game being played at the high school is how are on campus students that don't have cars, or don't want to go out to bfe to get their cars to go. I hope they provide a shuttle. I know it isn't the biggest turn out, but i know RAs sometimes take their residents as a program and not having it on campus may effect that. I don't know.

but i'm ready for some falcon football!

Well if the Bobcat boosters run the food stands as they normally do, at least the food will be good. Often I wished they would run all the BGSU football concessions.

I think its a decent place to play the game, better than the practice fields.

Gosh, I'm getting old and forgetful
I signed up to work the Kiwanis Pancake Day THEN I go to see the Village People that day. That may top Go Diego Go.

Fairgrounds Tailgate Party At the FOp Building

Post by BGSUCop »

If anyone is interested, we are going to open up the FOP building at the fairgrounds. Lots of parking-large indoor (heated if needed) area-we provide the grills-you bring food and booze. Reply if interested so we will kinda have an idea how many tables to set up.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't trust cops at the spring game  Although it may have been campus cops...I was too drunk to remember...

Cool. The "cops are a-holes because they wouldn't let me sit and drink out of a case inside the stadium" discussion again...

Drinking beers in the stadium is a specially practiced privilege, not a Constitutional right, kiddies...

Hmmm, Kiwanis pancake breakfast the same day as the spring game. Small coup for the club. Might see if I can pull an "interclub" with the BG alums in my local club!

art...skill.. yes, but only to the privileged few that possess what it takes to pull it off. :-D I still can't believe I had to tutor a co-worker on how to nab a pint glass from a bar... heh. amateurs.
