Heh, maybe. The last place I want to be is inside Martz's head.Flipper wrote:Martz says Stanton has moxie... do you think he smelled pee on him and mistook it for moxie?Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Stanton is not going to be a good NFL QB. He wasn't even a good college QB. He has some tools, but he's a bed-wetter.
Stanton was able to show his moxie because he was constantly failing but kept coming back for more. I thought he was going to be a really good one when he started out, but he was a different QB after he hurt his shoulder against Michigan.
His official NFL bio should read: Drew "Brain-Fart" Stanton. He's not half the QB Joey Harrington was, and that's sayin' something. Although, I suppose if you never plan to address the OL situation in Detroit, you need a guy that can run around for 5 or 10 seconds before getting sacked. It's more exciting for the 74 Detroit fans left in the stands that way.

Just an FYI I heard through a short grapevine that Parks had pulled a muscle training and that reflected majorly in his numbers at pro day. I think Park should have gotten drafted but he is at a mini camp I've heard so hopefully that'll go well.hammb wrote:Wow, that 40 time for Parks is SLOW. For a man his size he might be hard pressed to even find someone willing to bring him to camp.
His best role is a tweener/pass rusher, but with that speed I doubt he'll be able to rush the passer well in the NFL. I wonder what is first 10 yard split is on that time...that's usually a better indication for pass rushers than the entire 40. How much explosiveness off the ball, etc.
As bad as our team was last year, I'd be surprised if anybody made it on an NFL roster...nobody stood out to me, really. The best player on our team last year was Kory L, and we've got him back another year.
