You can over talk a subject. Also, if the recruit has no interest in your school it'll be hard to recruit them.

I had this 6'5 WR in my hands but at the last point in my season he went elsewhere I think LSU. The reason he left was cause I set up his visit for the Toledo game, and he went on a vist before then and liked the school. I ended up losing all my regular season recruits for that same reason.

Is it just bc I'm at BG or is it a flaw in the game? Seems I can make an angry recruit happy by hard selling a pitch that he only cares about "Above Average" or "High". Whereas his "Most" will match up with a "Very good" part of BG and yet he'll get angry on the phone! Anyone else have this problem?
If you are only "Good" or below in the subject the recruit cares about the most, avoid it completely. You have to focus on things that match up. Above average with good, good or great with high, and excellent or elite with very high and most.

Also, how high you can sway the recruit up depends on how strong you are in that subject. Good can get to above average, great and very good can get to high, and excellent and elite can get to very high. Swaying the recruit up to "very high" on the few subjects you're excellent and elite in is the key to getting them to choose you. If you are "very good" in a category, and the recruit is already at high, if your sway is successful you'll actually drop them to above average from high and hurt yourself.

As far as visits, schedule a big OOC game for the open MAC week (usually week 11ish). If it's a tight battle with other schools, don't wait until week 12 or 13 to bring the recruit in. Weeks 9-11 are the best times. Barely any recruits get signed before then by rival schools.

Ah ha thanks. I just figured if it was "very good" then they would be happy, but now I get that it needs to be excellent or ELITE if its their "most".

I went 7-6 with a bowl win my 1st season. 5-7 my 2nd season, and I'm 0-1 to start my 3rd season. I have the AI cranked way up though & I'm making the schedule pretty brutle to make the game more realistic. I've still managed to recruit better than anyone else in the MAC both years. 44th and 55th overall, and I even got a 2 year contract extension!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
