MN has more talent than Iowa State. No doubt about that. What happens, happens. But I never count out the Falcons. We've had wins over BCS and BiG 11 teams before. If want to be respected and known, winning games like MN will help. The MAC Sked is the most important thing. But I like beating BiG 11 teams.

BG can win this game...any game can be won or lost. Doyt Perry said that all the time and he knew a thing or two about winning. MN will be a stiff test but I like the makeup of this BG team. We are no slouch and they seem pretty fiesty.

And as far as Corey Partridge? Don't kid yourself...he has speed. Maybe not the blazing speed but he has a certain quickness that defenders have a lot of trouble with. The one handed snag at OSU...he beat that DB by a good 4 yards and the DB even grabbed his jersey during the crossing pattern.

GO FALCONS!

FalconFreak,

I havent counted out BGSU at all. In fact I havent even predicted a score or even a win/loss in any of my posts here. I have said confidently that Minney will do some things (rush for over 200 yards, TE will have 100 on the night) and BGSU will do some things (go vertical off play action for big gains, get at least a pair of INT's).

Just took offense to someone saying we have less talent than ISU

ISU had to sign a HUGE JUCO class this year when Chizik came in because they had no players...cupboard bare. Kent State is solid too this year.

Great win for the MAC, and I am looking forward to a good, if not close, and hopefully injury free game tomorrow!

stpaul,

I would have taken offense too, if I were you. There is no comparison, IMO, between Minnesota and Iowa State. MN is a more talented team in every way.

I enjoy speaking with fans of other teams like you, bro. The NW and Purdue fans were pretty cool when we played them. Wisky fans, at least the ones that showed up here, were cool. OSU? That's a different story. LOL.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Gophers as the season goes on...Injury free game is best for both teams!

Well, Corey has good speed and very good vision and perception of the open spaces on the field. I can assure you he is among the top 5 fastest on this team, if not in the top 3. Maybe BGFootball can give us more insight. I ask Corey about these kind of things because I want to know who the fast guys are and who does this best and what not.... He doesn't give up a lot of information and I don't post everything I know. That just wouldn't be right. Some things aren't meant to be out in the open until game time.

I hope he can go out and be the type of captain this team needs and lead them to victory this Saturday. I am sure that Corey will take a win over getting catches any day. He is a true team player and wants this team to win over personal stats or glory.

I enjoy the comparisons to Cole Magner because I think Cole was a great player for BG. Corey has not reached that level yet, he has not accomplished the things Cole did as a Falcon. He is at that point in his career were he can go out and do those types of things, I hope he can reach that level and beyond. I think he has shown he has as good or better hands than Cole and he is faster than Cole was, but man Cole could really bring it on game day.....

Here's to Corey and Freddie making us forget a little about Sharon and Sanders....

I am looking for a Terrific year out of Sheehan....
