Its just so sad the number of folks who cant see just how bad we are getting (perenial bottom half CCHA dwellers and just how sad after how good we were ('84 National Champs, CCHA Champs, NCAA Tourney appearancs) that we were unable to maintain that awesome level of play and what has contributed to this demise. What is that The Hockey News calls us...no not mid major...yes flukes when we were competitive and how those teams come around every so often and how the mids like Miami that maintain quality programs are truely good.
just pointing out that we have to fix the problems to be good.

Seriously answer my questions. I have two I sincerely would like to know the answers to:
1. Why do you have a banner complaining about the globalization of whining yet you whine all the time on here?
2. Are you really that naive to make these arguments on the football board while giving the all-clear to hockey which has more closely gone down the path that you are prognasticating for the football team?
Compare the trends and records of BG hockey and football over the past 5 years and any person with decent reasoning skills will note that Falcon hockey is in a much more dire place than football.
But, please please answer my two main questions. I am genuinely interested to know how you would answer them. So I will repeat them in case you skip over that part of my post:

1. the banner is referance to the fact that no one can say what % of the global warming issue is directly related to man and mans development, its a fraud. Im not whining just stating that our football program has bent over for a pot head who sucks at QB and should have been offed, a thug with no self controll and how he should have been offed, and all the other issues that are part of the abrupt halt in productivity by this team.
2. Hockey on the other hand is poised to return to the top, would have had a good season last year had it not been plagued with injury. and Yes your right the hockey record last year is AWFUL. I am optimistic with what I see, where with football I see a continuation of failure, and some strange dedication to it. Should hockey have a bad season again this year, my optimism will pass and I will have formulated an idea of where fault need to be placed and opinion on what to do. just I have done with football and how I have lost respect for the team do to poor actions of players and lack of action by the coach and administration.
Why
do you take such great issue with some ones objective view of where this team is and where it is going. Thank you for answering my questions. I still think you contradict yourself with your different views on football and hockey when hockey is blazing the trail to mediocre-ville that you have predicted for football. The hockey program has has sunk deeper and quicker than the football program.
If you look at my posts I almost never specifically take issue with things you say about schemes and ideas. My problem with you has been your inconsistant logic and continual whining STOP GLOBAL WHINING. You are whining here and whining about things you cannot control.
Furthermore what disgusts me the most about your naive, closed-minded, contradictory, mainly incoherrent posts is that you are hell bent on posting things that pit a hockey camp vs. the rest of falcon nation. It bothers me that you are seemignly trying to divide falcon fans and thoughts rather than support them. I have no problem with opposing points of view but you present the same opinion over and over rather than putting something constructive together.
You have a theme of 3-4 things you protest and about 1 thing you at the least support. It gets old.

..feels Anthony Turner is a "thug" because he got caught in a car with mary jane present. Turner served a game suspension. Great, get over it. He didn't rob anyone, crash his car, or brutally attack someone.

...feels the football program gets preferential treatment over the hockey team. Economics says the football program will always bring in more money than hockey can on a sustainable level. Division 1 college athletics is a business and the business model that works doesn't revolve around hockey. Now don't read in to this that I don't care for hockey. I love BG hockey. I grew up with season tickets, traveled to The Joe, and went to NCAA t ourney games. I played BG Youth Hockey and even broadcast BGHS hockey. My first full time job out of college was in Junior Hockey.
...feels the new logo is a redhawk knock off and gay. We have pointed out the fact that the redhawk logo is three dimensional while ours is two dimensionl and numerous other facts to discern the two logos. Macman just ignores that. And to call it "gay"?? Is there anything more Fallwellian you could do on here? And the Teletubbies are the ones that had Fred Flintstone come up with the new logo while listening to Depeche Mode.
