What an outstanding win for this football team. I wasn't able to watch it due to not having direct tv but I listened to it on the radio and it was exciting! That brings me to my next point... big thumbs up to Todd Walker and the radio crew last night. They did a great job of calling the game!
Now to the game itself. I used to be a Greg Brandon detractor but I definantly have some respect for him now. Going for the win in the first OT was the ONLY option there and he understood that and left it in his ballclubs hands to win the game. He understood that Minn. had the offense rolling and that we couldn't continue to go toe to toe with them so he took the opportunity he had and got the W.
What a game!! The only thing that bothers me about last night is that I watched ESPN for about an hour and a half after the game and NEVER saw a highlight from the game! I still haven't even seen the pass to Sheehan or the 2 point conversion to win it.
Edit: I just saw the play in OT to win it thanks to Flipper and WOW. What a throw by Sheehan. The timing of that play was impressive! If he throws that a second earlier, Barnes dosen't catch it and if he throws it a second later it gets knocked down!
Go Falcons!
p.s. does anyone have any info on how much the tickets to the MSU game are going to be? I plan on going, but I'm a poor college kid so the price needs to be understandable.
My thoughts on last night
tickets wont be a problem, just don't buy them threw a ticket office.

$11 just to get in, show up to East Lansing with $10 and you will get a ticket. just be patient.

Re: My thoughts on last night
Watched College Football Final and Sportscenter (2x) to try and see what they'd have to say, and all we got was a "Bowling Green doesn't have any plays in the countdown, but they had a big win on Saturday, too." During the Top 10.aaronBG10 wrote:The only thing that bothers me about last night is that I watched ESPN for about an hour and a half after the game and NEVER saw a highlight from the game! For those of you who missed my post from Friday, please visit "myfoxtoledo.com" hit the sports tab and answer and extremely easy BG trivia question. The station has a lot of tickets to give away, trust me I know and if you can get up to Toledo to pick them up after Wed., you will be set! Again tickets are in the BG cheering section and we are giving away sets of 4. Go Falcons!
