ESPN GameDay moved to Saturday!!! at Toledo
This is how people in Toledo like to start rumors....
Since the recent announcement of OSU denying ESPN to be on campus, that i found out about Tues. night, ESPN is scrambling to find a location for it's gameday show, and they also have no game for noon as of yet to be on ESPN. According to my brother, who lives in Chicago, and, honest to god is good friends with Kirk Herbstreit, They went To Centerville High School together, are looking at the possibilities of moving the UT game to noon THIS SATURDAY, and gameday would broadcast live from Toledo. This is just what he said, (my brother), but take it with a grain of salt. I really don't think this would or could happen. It is just too much to do in too little of time. THIS IS AS OF12:30AM on Wed. Just keep an eye out. Dont think it'll happen though. Just thought i'd pass along the info. My brother said Toledo is one of many options for games.

When has the NCAA ever moved a game UP in the calendar just so a morning talk show can be broadcast at a crap school like Toledo. THey can dream, but BG is the only place that Chris, Lee, and Kirk ever wanted to visit!

Never. But I bet the first time they do it, they will be expecting some "mid-major" schools to rearange their schedules for ESPN. And those schools wil do so b/c of the amount of attention it will bring them. If ESPN would be jsut be more fair to the smaller school, we wouldnt have to jump up to do their bidding for the slightest reward.Mr. Frieda wrote:When has the NCAA ever moved a game UP in the calendar just so a morning talk show can be broadcast at a crap school like Toledo.
anyway... sorry toledo, BOWLING GREEN is still the only MAC school you'll see gameday at!
