MAC Week 1 Recap & More News

We have posted our week one recap at MAC Report Online with a quick take review that includes notes and quotes from every game; our choices for players of the week; record setting MAC attendance and a tidbit on how the MAC was able to avoid playing Appalachian State.

Our picks went 9-3 for opening week and we provide a comparsion between our picks and the actual outcomes. Some good...some ugly.

After all that talk about the West being so much stronger than the East take a look at those standings! Everyone in the West loses, and all but 2 win in the East! :D
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

And the best part is, the directional Michigan schools all made the ESPN Bottom 10 this week. They got lumped in together at #6.

There is nothing good when the MAC and its schools are being considered some of the worst in the nation.

As much as we all like to see the other MAC schools not do well, it hurts BG because the MAC looks bad as a whole.

I always want every MAC school to win every OOC game they play. Especially against BCS teams.

Big harry deal! The bottom 10 is a meaningless comedy bit by the espn.com football editor and should be taken as nothing more.
