and this is why the "system " is oh so very wrong, and why we need play offs and not bowl games.hutchirish wrote:I am all about the MAC, but in this instance, there just aren't enough bowl bids to go around. We need MINN to win big against the RedBricks to further strenghten our strength of schedule...

It's a wash. We play both teams. If we beat both, it's a wash.hutchirish wrote:I am all about the MAC, but in this instance, there just aren't enough bowl bids to go around. We need MINN to win big against the RedBricks to further strenghten our strength of schedule...
Normally, I'd root for the MAC team. But, since we've played Minnesota, it doesn't matter so much.
I'll be rooting for Minnesota the rest of the way, of course.

And isn't it lovely to see Marshall get thumped two weeks in a row?redhawk95 wrote:i always root for conference teams first. well, except when marshall was in the league.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Marshall deserves to be in the ESPN Bottom 10. We'll see if they make it this week.Falcon Fanatic wrote:And isn't it lovely to see Marshall get thumped two weeks in a row?redhawk95 wrote:i always root for conference teams first. well, except when marshall was in the league.

Roll Along!
Just bring up the time that the longsnapper snapped the ball over the punter's head 4 or 5 times in a single game.. How priceless...moneymaker02 wrote:the guy that sits next to me at work is a miami alum, he brags about the 03 games all the time, and im just like yayayayaya
There were more BG fans at that game than miami fans.
For me, Miami is a huge rival cuz my little sis is a senior there
insane in tha membrane
that was the lightning delay game, right? regardless, that was embarrassing both in the stands and on the field. of course, then there was last year...truth wrote:Just bring up the time that the longsnapper snapped the ball over the punter's head 4 or 5 times in a single game.. They lost by 25. It wasn't even close. I don't think anybody in the Marshall locker room said to themselves, "hey we could have won that one" afterward.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Bottom 10 teams don't hang with WVU for 3 quarters.bgsufalcon24 wrote:Marshall deserves to be in the ESPN Bottom 10.
