This is what I wrote over on MiamiHawkTalk a few minutes ago:

Alright, here I go with my prediction.

This game is interesting because it matches up a strong BG offense, probably the best or 2nd best in the MAC against a Miami D that is near the tops in the conference. The key to this matchup in my view is going to be the Miami D-Line and LBs against the BG O-Line. If Sheehan has time to throw (which he really didn't most of last week from what I've heard) I don't see how Miami's secondary can keep up with Partridge, Barnes, and the other Falcon WRs. If the Redhawks can get pressure on Sheehan, he might start feeling it and throw some to the defense.

Offensively, Raudabaugh needs to have a good game for Miami. BG's run defense isn't exactly stellar, but without Murphy I'm just not sure Miami has a real big play threat in the backfield. The more Raudabaugh can manage the game and keep the BG offense off the field, the better off Miami will be. Obviously interceptions are a no-no to the 3rd power because BGs D thrives on turnovers, its really the only way they can stop a drive some days.

Ultimately, I think that all the injuries Miami has suffered in recent weeks will be the difference. BG wins a close one, probably with a late score in the 4th quarter. Unless if Sheehan throws up a bunch of INTs, I just don't think Miami has the offensive firepower to keep up with BG.

End prediction

Hopefully, my unbeaten prediction record will hold up this weekend!
