And it seems the the bigger the conference road game the more flat our players look.

Well, we did hand Ohio their only conference loss on the road last year. Just sayin'...

I agree that the Miami win was big at the time. Unfortunately, UT got us the following week to take the division title away from us.
My problem is that we seem to get pasted in MAC road games that seem to be even matchups. Since GB took over in 2003, we have played in 7 MAC road games that we were favored by less than a TD or dogs by less than a TD:
Miami 2003 +7 - lost 10-33
NIU 2004 -1 - lost 17-34
UT 2004 -4 - lost 41-49
OU 2006 +6 - won 21-9
CMU 2006 +7 - lost 14-31
UT 2006 +6 - lost 21-31
Miami 2007 +3 - lost 14-47
1-6 in games that were fairly even matchups. 4 losses by 3+ scores. It's really frustrating to see BG go into road games that are winnable, but come out with a big L.
