Soonerfansince69,

Nice to hear your views. OK is gonna be the biggest test ever for a BG team. Teams like the Sooners are so good in so many areas they're very difficult to beat.

Looking forward to an awesome game. GO FALCONS!!!!

While Perkins accomplishment of returning three punts for a TD in a single game is amazing, I would bet we would be smart enough to kick it out of bounds so he doesn't get a chance to do that again. :yawinkle:

I love how people like this get all their confidence in life through their college football team.

Hey Soonersenfuego...what about all the other posts directed at you on this forum? Nothing to say? Gonna pick and choose what to respond to?

Wanna make a bet? You give all of us 42 points. If you are that sure of YOUR prediction, put your money where your mouth is.

I don't think it will be a blowout (over 30 pts) but a lot of that will be due to OU calling off the dogs.

OU 42
BG 20

BTW-- Please come by O'Connell's before and after the game, you will find great people and most visitors get beers bought for them.

Good luck with the rest of your season.

I hate picking against a team I support, but...OU 35 BG 14. Either way, this will be a fantastic pick on my spot card, I doubt OU will cover more than thirty.

"Most visitors get beers bought for them".

That is the coolest thing I've ever heard.
I still say BG has a chance to win....but we must play a perfect game. Absolutely no mistakes. Not very likely but possible. 8)

Yeah it is.

That said... I'm not sure I'm in a position to start flattering Sooner Nation through imitation.

I was at Frickers before the MAC title game -- and there were a *whole* lot of Miami fans in that bar.

I only get on here once every 2 days or so, sorry.
Point me to some questions asked, and I will gladly answer them. By the way, I don't get all of my confidence in life through my football team. It does help to be an optimistic person in many parts of your life, though. That's me. I just think my team is a step above the rest. You will find out. And I'll be back on here a couple of days after the game, and probably apologize for my outrageous prediction, but won't apologize for the buttkicking you get.

The first college football team I followed was the Oklahoma Sooners with Joe Don Looney running the ball for them, and I really loved the wishbone teams QB'd by Jack Mildren.

I have always rooted for the Sooners to beat everyone, but that will change when BG plays them.

I saw my first OU game live a few years ago when they travelled to Notre Dame. I was very impressed by the huge contingent of Sooner fans who made it to the game. I believe the game was in 1999.

Back in the 80's, I saw BG play at Penn State. BG actually led after the first quarter of the game. The surprise for Penn State ended there, and BG lost fairly easily.

BG may get a quick surprise score, and another score at the end after OU starts getting the starters out of the game. OU scores often and puts an end to its 2 game losing streak. OU 56 BG 10.

Question for Sooner fans. I thought your stadium was Owen Field. Is this a new stadium you play at now, or a name change?

Go Falcons, prove me wrong.

I love my Falcons and would love to see BG beat Oklahoma, no doubt. But I just don't see it happening. The Sooners are an entirely different breed of an animal than the Big 12 teams we've feeded on recently. The game is in Norman, we're without J5, OU is stinging from the way last season ended, I just don't see it happening. I'd love to eat my words, I really would. If we don't win, and I think that will be the case, I just hope we play a solid game and come away healthy. I'm much, much more worried about our game at NIU a feww weeks later than the one in Oklahoma anyway. I'd love to see us shock the world, but I see it:

BG 17
OU 43
GO BG!!!

OK - would you be so confident if it was Purdue or Minnesota coming into Norman?

Why is it that it is OK for you to think we are going to lose by 42, but it is not OK for us to even predict a 14 point loss? You wanted serious predictions, you got em.

I really don't think Falcon30 will be playing in the game, friend.
