It may be many things but low scoring it will not be.

BG 45
OU 3

OU kicks a fieldgoal on the last play of the game to avoid the shutout.

Geter 150 on the ground and 100 receiving.

BG - 38

Road Kill U. - 20

Frank Solich gets ejected from the game in 2nd quarter for taking a whiz on the first down marker. On the way out of the Doyt, he makes the following statement: "Youth guyth don't knowth a damn thththting abouth footballing a gameth croach (burp). Whyth go dumpth ina crickth."

No wins are easy for BG these days...but I can't see how Ohio will come into our house and win. We own them like Miami owns us.

prediction

Post by bobcatalum32 »

Like some have said, it's tough to predict anything this year....especially in the MAC. The only thing I guarantee is we'll turn it over more than you. I see a high scoring game. Even though we turned it over 8....omg 8....times against Toledo we managed to put 40 on the board. Unfortunately, we couldn't stop my little sister running the ball, so if you stick to the run you'll rush for 150+ and lots of points. I see it staying relatively close (probably optimistic at best) and I'll call it at 45-38. Not sure who wins, but I'd really rather not be 3-6 after this weekend.

Good luck to you, hopefully both teams come out w/o any major injuries.

Kent has the best run defense in the MAC, and for some reason Brandon decided they would be the defense to start running the ball against. So now Ohio has one of the worst run defenses in the MAC so I am betting that we go back to throwing the ball 40+ times.

Prediction: Sheehan puts it up 42 times, three TDs, two picks. Geter has fewer than 10 rushing attempts. BG wins but doesn't cover the spread, 34-29.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see that happen.

Not a prediction but a fun fact.

Currently, no team on the remainder of our schedule has a winning record (or is even .500 for that matter). Every team we play is beatable. We just have to take each game for what it is and not look ahead.

We play how we did at Kent and everything will turn out just fine.

We do own Ohio. OU won the east last year and BG still beat them in their own stadium. So I can't see us losing. Geter won't have the game he had last week but a decent one. Tyler comes out strong and throws 3 td's. BG's defense has thrived on turnovers all year and only had one last week. I see the D getting quite a few against the bobcats turnover prone offense.

Another fun fact, school in the MAC has a winning record against us (historically) other than MiAudi and Central Meeshigan.

School - BG's record

Akron - 8-6
Ball State - 17-8
Buffalo - 3-1
Central - 12-14
Eastern 18-5
Kent 38-7
Miami 15-26
Northern Ill 10-5
Ohio - 27-16 (13-8-1 at home - not terribly dominant)
Temple 7-2
Toledo 23-21
Western 25-14

It's nice to boast about this stuff, but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. The Buffalo game has me most concerned. We just beat them last year and this year, they are performing very well in MAC play.

I smell a Defensive Statement game. I really think they will all step up and finally shut someone down.

BG - 28

OU - 7
