It will just be me going. I should be there around 4:30-ish.
The weather is starting to look slightly better however. 37 degrees with only a 7 mph wind at 7:00. Chance of precipitation only 20%.

Dave, Please tell your dad that I said Hi! Unfortunately, Joyce and I had plans for the weekend that had to be canceled by TWO deaths on the same day in our "extended" families. So Fri. nite will be TWO visitations at TWO different funeral homes...and Sat. morning will be TWO funerals at TWO different churches a half hour apart. Not exactly the way we were planning things for the weekend to say the least...but hope SR. is OK so we can "hassle" him for his co-ordination (or lack of) at the UT game.hamjunior wrote:Hey Mike, my dad & I were supopose to be going to the game but last Friday night after the Akron game at BG he took a bad fall in the hotel room and hit his head quite hard. He made it home the next day, how I have no idea, but last night his head was hurting so bad my mother had to take him to emergency about 1:00 a.m and he has been in intensive care and it looks like they are going to keep him for the next 4-5 days. As I walked into the room to see him this morning the nurses were taking some tests and the very first thing he said was something about BG using Anthony Turner as a running back, I looked at my mother and said "he sounds fine to me." Sorry this has not been the most uplifting post but I thought you might want to know how he is doing.

Thanks 61, I just received a phone call from my mother and they are taking my dad into surgery within the next hour to remove the clot. I'm sure he will come out of it just fine. He has been in Intensive Care since Monday but the doctors have been very encouraging. Looks like you have a fun weekend aheadClass of 61 wrote:Dave, Please tell your dad that I said Hi! I hope everything goes well for him! We need him to get healed up and ready for the UT game, so he can get some perch!
Thanks Hammb, I'll mention the perch, that might just do the trick. The first thing I asked him in the hospital on Monday was "what happened did Brian get you to drink Crown Royal or what???"hammb wrote:Dang, I'm just now reading through this.hamjunior wrote:Thanks 61, I just received a phone call from my mother and they are taking my dad into surgery within the next hour to remove the clot. I have the worst/best reason yet for not going (cannot even watch on TV)...damn.
i have to attend a wedding this evening. If that is not bad enough, it is an OSU theme wedding.
I am wearing a Falcon turtle-neck, with a Blue Jackets pullover. Its the best I can do without offending the bride/groom.
who thinks of this stuff?
