Playing status of Geter, Hardwick and Sanderson for Bulls...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

From the Sentinel Tribune...

Brandon said running back Willie Geter and defensive end Jacob Hardwick should be ready to play against Buffalo.

It’s a different story for safety Jerett Sanderson
“His quad thing has really gotten nasty,” Brandon said. “He’s got bone growing in the muscle now. It’s just calcified so much.”

Man, this injury with Sanderson is really getting crazy! Good thing Mahone is playing well in his absence.

Leaving work in less than 2 hours!!!

Well, Geter and Hardwick are good news, but damn, Sanderson, that sucks! With that serious of an inury, is there any way he is gonna get a medical redshirt?

I don't think medical redshirts are handed out based on severity, but in regards to how much he played before the injury. Though there always seem to be exceptions.

...for major schools like Oklahoma where it would benefit the NCAA to keep a name like Jason White around for an 8th year. ($$$$) but in our case, I wouldn't bank on it.

Also it depends on Sanderson's desires too. It could be that he wants to move on after 4/5 years (not sure of his status now).
