CBS seems to have five MAC teams in, and the fifth is a stunner.

Read into it what you like, but a little bird on the MACsports list indicated NIU's team was told before leaving for the holiday to expect a bowl bid and to be ready for practice after returning to campus. They don't know which one they will go too, but the GMAC bowl is in hot rotation with their admin types.

This might be more interesting were the glut of bowls without teams not making it clear we are getting four MAC teams in bowls, if not more.

Oddly, CBS think Akron is going bowling.

I think its ironic that last year we had a dream season, and got two bids, and this year we have a very average season with THREE poor-quality BCS wins, and we're getting three-five bowl bids. Something ain't right...

But at least it ain't right in our favor this year!
