Bye the bye- I don't think UT even has banners for MACCs at hte Glass Bowl. Maybe, like Cowboyjoe says, we're waiting for the BCS Championship banner.

I don't play for anything anymore, those days are long gone, but that pesky MACC is SOOOO hard to win without that Division Championship. I know the team I support has played for several MACC's, including two this decade. I celebrated those. I also celebrated the 5 Western Division titles. I even celebrate every win. Must be pretty depressing sitting around with nothing at all to celebrate for years on end. I do admire your patience.

Two of the four games listed above went our way.BGSU33 wrote:1. BEAT TOLEDO!!!!!
2. Northern Illinois (2-9) over Ball State (6-5).
3. Ohio (5-6) over Miami (6-5).
4. Akron (4-7) over Central Michigan (6-5).
In other words, we pretty much want/need all the MAC home teams to win this week (which includes all of the above).
Obviously, BG beating Toledo was the most important of them all. Also, Ohio beat Miami which was good as it puts Miami in a must-win situation in the MAC Championship game. Akron had CMU on the ropes and if not for a costly penalty that wiped out a long play that would have resulted in a first down for the Zips (that likely would have allowed them to run out the clock), they were forced to punt and CMU drove for a last minute score. Lastly, Ball State remains right in thick of things as lowly NIU couldn't provide any help.
GO BG!!!
