Just looking at the Harris Interactive College Football Poll and saw where Jim Lessig gave BG a 25th place vote in the final poll.

Good to see some love from the past.

At 8-4, Bowling Green has the MAC's best record. And 8-4 teams generally aren't ranked.cbjhack wrote:What sad is that NO MAC team got a vote in the other polls. A couple of years ago, it wasn't uncommon to see two or three teams.
Why?
Heck, that 2003 Falcon team, at 10-3, probably had the worst record of any nationally ranked MAC football team. The difference then is that much of the conference was getting it done in nonconference play.
This year, by and large, the MAC got its butt kicked outside the conference.
It's cyclical. In the East, Bowling Green, Miami and Temple all have young teams right now.
