I am not ashamed to admit that I am quite ashamed of many of the people around here.
Yeah, tonight hurt, but it is not the end of the world. We will still get to a bowl game, and the worst we did was lose to our rival (I know...) and screw NIU again (bet they aren't too happy tonight...).
I am still proud of this team and how they have represented our university. Win or lose, they are upstanding individuals, great students and have proved that we are the best program in the MAC. You can't argue with that. Yeah, Toledo won, but they did it with criminals and we all know it. They'll bitch for me saying it, but they know it just as well as you and I do.
I was at the game tonight. I was surrounded by TU fans drinking and smoking in the stands. They truly are the trash that we think they are. Bottom line. No matter what happens on the field, we have a lot going over those people. They were the ones I saw picking the fights even when our fans deffered.
Our team did not go to parties and put people in the hospital, and for that we can all hold our heads high. We can hold our heads even higher when we go to a bowl and win.
And next year we'll beat Boise and Wisconsin. What is Toledo going to do? Put more people in the hospital?
I hope this has put tonight in perspective for all of you.

CaliSooner. Consider this your final warning.
You only post here when our team is down. You interject nothing but flames. We don't need to listen to this kind of banter when we're licking our wounds, and you don't need to be wasting your time here.
One more negative peep out of you, and you're permanently banned from here.
Good day.

Not really. We have to stop caring about beating Wisconsin and Boise State. This program talks about reaching the next level, and we aren't close to conquering this level.Bleeding Orange wrote:I am not ashamed to admit that I am quite ashamed of many of the people around here.

Actually guys...........
Calisooner could actualy serve good purpose here. I know none of us like him at all , but on some weird level he's right in some sense. We were way too confident just because we beat the living daylights out of the likes of Ball St. , Western Mich., Central Mich. , and Ohio. The only good team we beat all year is Marshall and their 6-5. I warned about these predictions of us beating UT by 64-10 and all that. We obviously didn't remember what happened to Michigan at OSU at all. You can't play one half of football and just show up on the field in the 2nd and expect to win. We looked really good in that 1st half , we were laying the smack down in our tackles , we got pressure on Brucie , but it did't matter a hill of beans what we did in the 1st when we started the 2nd. I don't know if its us having too big a head , poor coaching adjustments by Brandon or what.
Yeah, most of Calisooner's comments here have been stupid , but this time he's definitly got a point.

No he doesn't, he's a twit that can't hang with his own fans, so he lurks around here for no particular reason with anything.falconboy wrote:Calisooner could actualy serve good purpose here.
