How'd you guys do against Marshall?
Also, what do you call EMU, CMU, WMU, and BSU??
I call them, on the whole, better football teams than UCF, Buffalo, Ohio, and Kent State.

What are the "tough" games in-division for you? Marshall? Akron? Try playing NIU and Toledo every year.

Yes, you beat Toledo. I know. We beat Marshall, so we're even.
I'm not as cool as Tony Gaver, nor will I ever be.

I'm not trying to start a war here, just illustrating out the East and West have TERRIBLE teams at the bottom.

As for us losing Marshall, I guess it cancels out you guys losing to Toledo. Still, I thanked you guys after you beat the Thundering Terd this year and I thank you again.

You guys will rebound...I'm sold on Omar. He should get major Heisman hype by the time his senior year rolls around

Me too. It was tough to hear at the bar, but they flashed a list of coaches openings during the game and then the camera zoomed in on Brandon. They seemed to drop a hint about that during the lead into the game as well.

[quote="Cork"]Brandon will stay. He's still an OC and won't be a head coach until he learns motivational skills. I think we should send him to the same leadership training that Hoepner went to a few years ago. It worked for him.quote]

WORD. He needs motivational skills BADLY. To go into halftime up 20 and nearly lose by 14, is a disgrace, I DONT CARE WHO YOU'RE PLAYING!!! I like the guy, as a guy, but as a head coach, i'm a little weary. Urban Meyer is a motivator, that's why people want him. Brandon has beaten A winning team this season with a great football team on the field. What happens when we lose some receivers or linemen???

Onside kick...with 3:30 to go and 3 time outs!!! That lost the game...I have little doubt that it did.
Living in Virginia....so this is what elevation looks like =)

We should congratulate Miami for repeating as division champ, something we couldn't do. Our own house should be fixed first.

hammb you are always negative no one can ever please you! what do you want? who should coach? who should run the plays who should the players be? Man everytime its something negative trying to bring us all back down to earth. Its a loss ther is always a loser and always a winner. Or maybe we should just go back to 1999 i mean those years were fun.

Yes, I am negative. Somebody has to be. I get just as tired reading how everything is always okay, and everything about BG is so perfect as you do reading my negative takes. I like quite a few things about BG sports and the way they're being run, but quite frankly if I started lauding everything BG as well, there'd some pretty boring discussion here.

I'd post, "Hey our offense is good"
Reply, "Sure is did you see that catch?"
reply, "Yep, this is fun to watch"

In the end everyone would be happy, there'd be no arguments, and we'd be deluding ourselves into believing we're god's gift to football. Something that so many people here complain about OSU fans doing. Guess what, our s**t does stink, and this team ain't perfect. I'll continue to point out the flaws, and the rest of you can continue to point out the good things. I think every rational person realizes that the truth lies somewhere in the middle ground.

hammb, You always bring up very good points. I do not doubt that for a second. But you can only harp on the bad so long and so much. I have no problems with people pointing out the negatives but we also have to realize that nothing in this world is perfect. Sometimes there is not a good answer or reason. It just sucks. ....As for Gregg I feel that he is doing a good job. Are there better coachs out there? Yes there are. However, this is Bowling Green. A coach like UM comes around every 25 years, and look how long he stuck around. You suggest that we find another coach like him. This program needs a coach who will spend at least a half decade here. And UM was a huge risk, a hiring like that could easily go the other direction and there are countless of places where it has happened.

We seem to be forgetting that we lost the big conference road games when UM was here too! Two years ago we lost to UT and NIU. Three years ago we lost to Marshall and Western (at the time they were still decent). We haven't lost a home game not named Miami since 2000! It really doesn't make much sense....we can't even get 20k people in our stadium half the time, yet we always seem to win at home.

Trust me, no one is forgetting that.
