AS you know I'm normally better behaved here but then there's been some activity on our board lately so we're all having fun! You're a good sport, H2O. Makes the rivalry better.

I must congratulate you on being on top of the news, factman- are you going to break the big story about the Lindbergh baby, too? Its nearly as topical.factman wrote:I wonder what waterboy will have to say when the information goes public that their point guard and another former basketball former player (from the city) are involved in the "Scooter Scandal". Wanna bet?
We both have our baggage along with every other school in the world, including BYU and Bob Jones. I expect Blaine is a solid citizen and I would certainly think that our other, lesser known recruit Baire is as well.
Doug Bair went to BG? You guys have had some baseball players over the years.

He did go to BG. I razzed you about your typo, but I did the same thing (anothef). You could have nailed me. You are a good sport H2O.h2oville rocket wrote:I must congratulate you on being on top of the news, factman- are you going to break the big story about the Lindbergh baby, too? Wanna bet?How about Davisgate, Sharongate, Jacksongate, Gambygate, Kidwellgate, BillyJohnsongate, Jacquillardgate ( I go back pretty far)? I woudn't question a recruit's gender preference and I wouldn't imply that he'll only run into character issues if he attends a certain school.

You are correct Factman..that "point guard" up north launched up a three pointer with no one on him when the rest of the players were shaking hands as time was winding down under 10 seconds in their opening round MAC tourney game last year against Eastern. Funny how the line was UT -9 and the score was right at 9 when he took the shot at the buzzer. Interesting, heh? By the way he missed. He didn't look to happy after the game for some reason. Hmmm....

You haven't seen real women until you leave the entire Toledo/Bowling Green Northwest Ohio area. Neither school has much to be proud of my friend.moneymaker02 wrote:i dont understand how someone can visit bg, and then go up to nasty ol toledo and think it even compares. bg might as well be close to an sec school when it comes to girls.

I guess all those people that do pick UT just don't get it.
Really? Toledo is putting over $30 Million into renovating Savage Hall and building an Athletics Complex. We are also spending over $10 Million on an indoor facility that will have a full 100 yard football field on it. The turf at the Glass Bowl is getting replaced for 2008 as well. All of these things will be done before the 2009 football season starts. If it takes BG another 5 years to do their improvements, you might be too far behind by that point.
I really can't see BG improving their facilities to all be better than Toledo's though win Toledo is improving their facilities too. Maybe they will be about the same, but all be better???

if you're so sure, then explain how the Rockets actually won by eight?cowboyjoe wrote:You are correct Factman..that "point guard" up north launched up a three pointer with no one on him when the rest of the players were shaking hands as time was winding down under 10 seconds in their opening round MAC tourney game last year against Eastern.
