DES MOINES BOWL WATCH

Post by renee_j »

ATTENTION DES MOINES, IA AREA ALUMS!! There will be a bowl watch party/alumni interest party for us Iowans! Please mark on your calendars that we will be meeting at:
Buffalo Wild Wings
6925 Mills Civic Pkwy
West Des Moines, IA
Kickoff is at 7pm and all costs will be billed individually.
Come meet up with old classmates, or make some new friends. Enjoy some good food and have fun BG style! In addition to this being a bowl watch, this is also an opportunity for those interested in creating an alumni chapter for the greater DSM area. There's approximately 100 of us close by, so we potentially could be an amazingly strong group!! Please RSVP even if you are a MAYBE COMING to Renee at [email protected] or reply to this posting! Hope to see you there!!!

I like Des Moines as well. It is a very nice city. I was there on business and enjoyed it so much my wife and i took a long weekend. Prairie Meadows was also good to me. :-D

I lived in Clive for a year when I worked for Principal. You should get all those Clive after Five people to join your watch party!

Cool, I did my undergrad at Cornell and interned with the Rough Riders.

Zindrick's Czech restaurant in CR is one of my all time favorite places to eat!!

Mickey's, yes! spent quality time there. I have a hard time remembering all the name to places. However, Outer Limits and Big Earl's always seem to stick out in my mind.

Of the handful of those establishments I have been in, Big Earl's by far gave you the most uhhh bang for the buck. . .

OK, not a local place, but whenever I'm passing through on my way to Chicago, I'm a fan of the new Fuddruckers in West Des Moines.

There's a lot of nice, new stuff being built on the SW side of DM these days.
