Toledo Tech? I like it! But I still like Lucas County Community College better.

I don't know if our D can stop Tulsa's offense. But, can the Tulsa D stop BG's offense? If Tyler Sheehan can throw for 300 yards against MN and Michigan State in consecutive weeks (in his FIRST two starts as a true sophomore), he may set records against Tulsa. You need to know who you are playing and know we do not get to play against Rice Chex every week!

didnt they also say that Oklahoma defending National election champions would thump us...to start a season, didnt they predict, WI would roll over us, Purdue, Minny, Memphis and alot of teams over the years would just roll us. A few times they were right. With real powerhouses like Ohio State. Yet didnt we out play several of those team and win???? so hard to remember (lol) did not we actually play with many of those teams in close losses, the closest in several cases for those whole seasons for those teams.
tulsa blows folks, they have one guy who they rcount on to run the ball, that is it, they are much like a Cinderella HS team who had a slightly better than avg kid move in to town, who was way better than the rest of division. Tulsa is not only Our D will be able to shut them down, and for once when they do i hope the ESPN guys gage on the big dildos they called it on, and that GB would not only avoid the hand shake at the end of game 56-21, he would avoid the ESPN interview, saying only, you dont have time for some real Pre game coverage, i dont have time for you...The BG news , Sentinel and Blade want to do real interviews, that have real meaning. Gee makes me wonder what the super retard Mark May has to say...NOT!
That's not very accurate. We have a 1,000 yard rusher, another couple of decent tailbacks, two 1,000 yard receivers, a third h-back that is near 1,000 yards receiving, and CUSA player of the year Paul Smith.

I'll give you guys respect -- I think it will be a close game. But c'mon -- get your facts straight. Our offense is about as "spread out" as it gets.

Gold*,

I respect the Tulsa offense and team a great deal. I think it will come down to who has the ball last.

Take Macman with a grain of salt...

It *should* be a classic matchup!

To say that MACMAN isn't very accurate is to say the French didn't put up a great fight in WWII. It is to say that John Daly had a little difficulty staying away from the buffet table. It is to say Bowling Green isn't very hilly. It is to say that Shawn Bradley wasn't very short. entertaining he is, and sometimes almost a force of nature, but accurate? No.

I feel the need to have this shown again for our friends from Tulsa:

That's cool. We have our share of that -- some would say I'm one of those types of posters. :-D

I went to the practice rounds of the PGA Championship in Tulsa over the summer just to see Daly play. He never did a practice round, but instead went to the Cherokee Casino near Tulsa and played slots all day. I guess he played a round of golf there. Love the guy -- was sad to see the heat finally get to him.

Don't know anything about Toledo Tech but against UT they are, I think, 1 and 1. Good thing BG plays them this year and not the last three if what you say is true. ;-)

Don't do it, man. Its a waste of time. He revels in this stuff.

Why I'm defending BG fans I don't know, but with a handful of noteable exceptions like MACMAN, the people on this board are a pretty good group. Turn the internal IGNORE button on when you see his posts.

Think of MACMAN as Ted Nugent -- except that MACMAN isn't a bleeding heart, and he's better armed than the Nuge.

Uh... have you looked at your schedule?

Texas-El Paso may be a fine institution of higher learning. But they were the equivalent of prison gang property to Toledo two years ago in Mobile.

I can hear you now: "Well, that was two years ago."

Yeah -- and two years ago was the last time Texas-El Paso was actually any good.

You guys got a good win at Brigham Young and the win over Houston was decent. You will be a challenge for us in Mobile.

But, c'mon. Army? Marshall? Rice?

We've both got planks in our eyes. They aren't just specks. No need to obsess over them.
