1. I just posted a new blog from media day yesterday.
2. My colleague Freddy Hunt is doing a story on fans traveling to the game. Whether you're flying or driving he wants to talk to some people about their plans. If you'd like to be interviewed, e-mail him at [email protected]. Thanks.
3. We will be putting out a special section previewing the game the weekend before the game and another section for just the game on the Monday after. So look out for that stuff. We'll also be blogging from Mobile all week long.
Enjoy, I hope everyone has a nice break and Happy Holidays.
Hey, everyone, a couple things...

Well, I graduated this past December so I won't have to worry about missing class, but I'm one of the many who are taking the university up on the deal to take a bus down there. Cal Majure is the university representative who is spear heading this, so you might want to give him a call. Also, there is a facebook group set up for the trip, "GMAC Bowl 2008: Student Spirit Trip" At the moment, 36 people are signed up.

When I went to sign up for the trip last Friday (and pay my $) I asked how many people were signed up for the trip, and there were 40 names on the list. (I'm included in that count, but I wasn't even aware of the facebook group, I'll have to join ASAP). 40 actually isn't a terrible number when you consider the price and how far we're traveling to the game, IMO. Not many students at BG have $200 to just randomly spend on something like this at holiday time, the ones who are doing this are the true diehards, and probably the next generation of AZZers.Radioactive Falcon wrote:Well, I graduated this past December so I won't have to worry about missing class, but I'm one of the many who are taking the university up on the deal to take a bus down there. 24. Quality provider of the truth, for better or for worse.
Glad to see you decided to make the trip, 24!

Like my d-bag friend, I, too, am glad that you decided to go to the game! You should have a great time. I think you should tell everyone you can about this site, too. It would be great to hear about students' experiences, and there's nothing like getting them addicted when they're young!bgsufalcon24 wrote:When I went to sign up for the trip last Friday (and pay my $) I asked how many people were signed up for the trip, and there were 40 names on the list. It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

Shall you be attending as well? We could form a team of D-Bag never before seen on the coast line!Bleeding Orange wrote:Like my d-bag friend, I, too, am glad that you decided to go to the game! In fact, I shall be. We would be diabolical, and Mobile may never recover!BGDrew wrote:Shall you be attending as well? Shoot me a PM and let me know what your plans are. It'd be great to meet up at some point!
