Mine was that time we all got together, drank some beers, ate some food, then didn't spam a message board afterwards.

So the pre-internet days huh?

My favorite tailgating experience was the NIU game in 2003 by far. We camped out, drank all day, watched a hell of a game, and ended the day drinking margaritas at Chi Chi's. Pretty sure I slept all day on Sunday. :P

I'd have to agree. That NIU game...the whole day was outstanding.

Chichis was still open then? I thought it closed up a lot earlier. Anyways, I do remember that game, the tailgating was great, my buddies and I got on gameday.

Another fun one was the OSU game that same year.

I am pretty sure that is where we were. It could have been El Zarape that we were at but I don't think so.

Other than gameday, it would have to be when my room mate and I decided to go to El Zarape before a game and drink one margarita of each size (12, 24 and 48oz i think) Halfway through his last one he had to run out to the parking lot and puke. So I finished the last one for him. We then stumbled to the parking lot and hit a 10 foot beer bong along the way, tailgated, then went to the game. Needless to say I cannot remember when this was or who we were playing.... Just that it happened.

Every tailgate has been better than the one before it.

Chi Chi's was still open then...my good friend worked there still!

Not the Dayon that I know! Give me a break!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It was sabotage!!!

I love the fact that people who never knew each other before this website existed are now great friends and tailgate often. Any and all moments like that have been, and will continue to be, my favorites!!
