Big East to MCB?

Post by BGSU33 »

Rumor has it down here in ACC country that the ACC and Big East are working something out to place UVa in a bowl besides the one in Boise (since UVa won't go to Orlando to the Champs). Right now, it sounds like UVa could face Oklahoma State in the Independence Bowl. With that being said, it sounded like the Big East would mostly likely be sending teams to the Motor City Bowl and out to Boise. The teams that are being mentioned are BC and UConn. We'll see if it all happens or not.

Seems to me the Motor City gets the second-to-last pick, before Boise.

They may want Connecticut. A MAC win over the Huskies won't be as big deal as the other options, considering their lack of history... but my money says UConn travels better than Boston College or Syracuse.
