This ought to be a heck of a ball game....Good offenses and no defense (for us especially)...

Come on over to memphistiger.com and check out our board.

Go Tigers!

Madtiger:

Welcome! We're pumped to be in such an awesome bowl against a great opponent. Hope you'll stick around in the coming weeks. It will be fun as we get to know each other's team!

That bowl scoring record will be tough. I believe it's 64-61. Marshall & maybe ECU were involved in that game. I know it was Marshall, but I can't recall who they played.

Anyhoo, your QBs numbers are ridiculous. Are those typos? 12-to-1 TD/INT ratio?!?!? That's NOT what we needed.

I was kinda hoping for Northern Illinois so we could have the game in the bag by halftime. We easily handle teams who run but can't pass, however, every game against teams that can pass has gone down to the wire (with the exception of Houston, who we handled easily).

Looking forward to seeing you in Mobile. We'll be bringing about 10K strong to Mobile. It's a 6-hour drive from Memphis.

In the bag by halftime against NIU? I'm not sure about that one. I gave nothing against your team, but NIU is very tought no matter what. Also, after last weeks debacle, I think we've all learned that NO game is "in the bag" at halftime. OK, I'll post more later, Jeff

I think this game will be a lot of fun. NIU is a good team, but not all that much fun to watch, in my opinion. This will be a real shootout.

Maggot-

I'm only going but what I know about NIU and what I saw in one of their games this year. We have a 330 pound run-stopper and tend to hammer one dimensional running teams. Unfortunately for us (and fortunately for BGSU) we're AWFUL against the pass. Just run 3-step drop timing routes and we're TOAST. Our DBs NEVER look back for the ball. I am not kidding. Our secondary is so bad I called the NCAA to check on my eligibility status.

Actually I'm the original Memphis poster here :D. This is the matchup I predicted a few weeks ago and I'm truly excited that the Tigers and Falcons will be playing. If you're a fan of the spread offense this is a dream game.

Good luck Falcons. You'll need it.

Oh yeah, great looking board you've got here...!!! Come visit fellow Tiger fans at http://www.memphistigers.org over the next few weeks. We need intelligent visitors, the majority we get are UC, Louisville, and Ole Miss fans... need I say more?

Looking forward to a great game, wish I could go.

I really, really like this matchup.

I think Memphis is the most attractive opponent we could have imagined.

The ONLY thing I will point out, NIU is not totally one-dimensional...in fact I would call them balanced.

Was Cali offically banned or did a brightly colored shiny object come along and distract him?
