So, who's coming to Wyoming?
They should build a statue. That was about the only thing that went right with Wyoming's season last year. At least the Cavs got better as the season went on while the Pokes sank slowly into the abyss. With a new offensive coordinator, more birthdays on the offensive line, combined with their top-10 defense, hopefully the Cowboy's record will be much improved.BGSUVA wrote:you guys have a statue up yet commemorating the win over UVA? If I were to fly to Denver, I'd honestly rather visit with my son, daughter in law and "soon to be born" granddaughter. (Due in late August). They live in Edwards, just outside Vail, about a 2 hr. drive from Denver...We're planning on doing that trip in Mid/late Oct. if we can.BGSUVA wrote:you could fly into Denver an rent a car, that was the norm for the UVA fans who made the trip

My son might go .... doubtful that they'd take the baby to a FB game...at least YET... sadly, he went to OSU who ...but follows Colorado FB fairly closely, as his best friend is a BIG TIME season ticket holder there...(Read- Donates some real bucks).BGSUVA wrote:no reason you can't visit with them and take them to a game

Boise State welcomes you; friendly crowd, nice town, and see the blue rug in person. Good luck and we hope to see you in Boise!factman wrote:Planning on going west for either Wyoming or Boise, probably not both, but haven't decided which? Anyone have suggestions or preferences?

I would think that if any MAC team had beaten UCLA they'd put a a statue too. It's not Wyoming's fault that they didn't come to play. Goes to show that any FBS team can beat another FBS team on any any given day. The Hoo fans razed me about my pointing to the UCLA game as a reason the Pokes had a chance against their mighty Cavs. Well, they left Laramie with their tail tucked between their legs, didn't they?BGSUVA wrote:you guys have a statue up yet commemorating the win over UVA? My gf and I will be at the Boise game. Seeings how by that time we'll both be living in Idaho, that game will be really easy. Wyoming is a very real possibility, however having no clue what my work schedule is going to be like makes committing to that game very difficult. If it is at all possible, I will be there.

I moved out here to Eastern Washington, this may be one of the only games I'll get to go to. Of course there is always THE game near Thanksgiving, but only so much vacation time in a year..
Tickets from Spokane to Denver are about 250, when it comes closer we'll have to get someone to rent a party van..
