I think it's just nice to have the whole quote in there yeah Brandon could have given some credit to UT i would have liked to see that whouldn't have hurt.

I listened to the post-game show and maybe Aaron or Tood can weigh in on this, but I think he did make mention of UT doing the job at the very beginning of the postgame interview.

The thing I don't understand is about the Balls. I thought college teams took their own balls when they went to an away game? I'm pretty sure that we used a Falcon Logo ball at Oklahoma earlier this year, and it was hashed out then that each team uses their own footballs in most college football games.

Really hammb? That seems a bit odd to me.

Maybe it wasn't the balls. Sounds like that is what Omar was eluding to. I think he may have been having some mental problems in terms of feeling the ball. Sometimes people just have a off-game where things just feel different. So, it could be that it was more mental than physical. I'd believe it, though. I have that happen to me all the time playing the guitar. Every once in a while the strings just feel different and I play like crap.

but do we actually know that this is true? I have been told that every ball has a bar code and it is scanned before the game to make sure it is the right kind. it is also seems weird that he would cokmplain about their own footballs.

As someone with the band who's "accidentally acquired" a number of these balls, I can tell you that there's no bar code on the balls themselves. I've seen footballs with the BG, Toledo, Miami, and Western Logos on them, and thats about it. Jeff

fact: each team uses their own balls. Even at the high school level. footballs react differently when they get cold. usually they get hard, but sometimes they get slick as well.
