This guy knows what he's talking about.Metz wrote:Agreed. I think he has a ton of potential, he just needs to stay healthy. I'd put him in BG's top 3 for wide out every game.cw08 wrote:I don't know where people get the idea that Parks is not a good receiver. He had a pretty stellar year and caught a pretty big OT touchdown against Minnesota. He moves well after the catch and has a lot of upper body strength.
Anthony Turner is moving to WR

Add Kenny Lewis & Shane Steffy to that list. KL is from Penn Hills HS and SS is from Oakmont & Riverview HS. Nate Waldron is from nearby Rochester. Heck, I expect a big group of Angelo Magnone's family to be there...he's outta Steubenville...less than 40 miles from Pittsburgh.tiznow wrote:Jacobs4Heisman wrote:As for Parks, look for him to have a big game on 8/30 in front of his family and friends.MarkL wrote: I bet he plays his "slash" role and becomes our best slot receiver and has a good enough season to get NFL interest at receiver.

No doubt. It's good to be optimistic, but there is no way. I will pay 2 billion dollars if AT makes at as a true WR in the NFL. I also don't think all of these WR's are right on the verge of having this enormous break-out seasons like people are saying. I realize I'm guilty for mentioning Kelley in this thread, but he probably won't get enough playing time/touches to actually have a breakout season. I was just saying from my assessment of watching him he should be the #3 because he played better than Parks IMO. He also might be better than Freddie as a true WR, although Freddie is defn an amazing athlete and very good when the game is on the line (a ball player as I call him). Also Freddie was a QB not too long ago so he's still transitioning a bit into being a true WR, so hopefully he will continue to improve a lot again this season!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

I know I'd be getting the name and phone number of every NFL scout, GM anbd janitor and calling them to say "Hey, any interest in that Turner kid as a wideout?" It would only take one "Yes"- for maybe $100,000 you could convince one of them to have an interest and still come out $999,900,000 ahead.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:I will pay you a billion dollars if AT gets NFL interest as a receiver.
