At first I thought to myself, "Why is someone writing on this board in German?"BGSUfalcons wrote:Mes two. Dem grammer Natzees is ennoyying.

I was actually in the Bowling Green area this afternoon. I took a jog around campus and then went over to the Doyt to watch part of practice. For the most part, the players were just doing conditioning and technique drills while I was there, though I did notice a few things.moneymaker02 wrote:does anybody have any other news from camp? anybody been out to check em out yet?
1.The offensive coaches seem really laid back compared to the defensive coaches. The D Coordinator (Ward I think) was really laying into the linebackers and the D-linemen in several drills. Hey, whatever you've got to do coach, our defense NEEDS to improve, especially in the front seven.
2.The kickers seemed to be having a difficult day with their kicks. Granted the wind was gusting quite a bit today.
3.Sheehan and the other QBs still have a tendency to lock onto certain receivers. The ability to look off and check down comes with time and seasoning, but it's important, especially for a QB like Sheehan who can't afford to put the defense in bad field position with interceptions.
4.The Doyt looks really nice with the new chairs on the west side and the orange paint at the bottom and up the aisleways. It's amazing how much nicer the place looks now compared with 3 years ago when I first came to BG. From what I've heard we didn't get the scoreboard we have now until 2003, and before that there weren't even lights in the stadium. The Doyt has certainly come a long way in a short time.
Those are my raw impressions, nothing really significant.
