I seem to remember from some "ask the AD" questions last year that BGSU was inclined to avoid invitations to the Patriot Bowl in favour of more home fixtures, so I have never given this fixture much notice. Today I discovered at vandelaysports.com that Kent St are entertaining Boston College at Browns Stadium on Saturday in the "bowl" game.
I am surprised. I thought the Patriot Bowl's raison d'etre was about bringing an armed services team to Cleveland.
