Thunder Sticks

Post by dstubb »

I had a great time at the Minn game...but...thunder sticks? Isn't that a little sophomoric? This isn't the 2002 Angels...

C'mon athletic department...let's find a new promotion...

thundersticks suck...at least have a minimum IQ requirement before giving them out, for example, if Sheehan is ready to take the snap, you don't bang your thundersticks together.

I hate thundersticks more than I hate any other inanimate object.

They are cheap, and that is why we give them out.

I'd rather they give out 500 free t-shirts than 10,000 free thundersticks. At least shirts don't end up in the dumpster after the game.

lame or not, all I know is that those thundersticks were looking sweet in the student section.

I think if they were JUST giving out thundersticks, the environment would have been awesome. But, unfortunately, they had extra giveaways, and the atmosphere turned from supportive to stupid.

I love Thundersticks.

Bottom line - we need more noise in the stadium.

Me, of course, I vote for the Ay Ziggy Zoombells, but the athletic department doesn't seem interested in them.

Instead, lets give everybody seat cushions so we can spend the entire game throwing them onto the field.
