Fans Invited to Attend Homecoming PreGame Football Team Walk

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

The Bowling Green State University Athletic Department is encouraging all Falcon fans to flock to the Falcon Football Tailgate Park (adjacent to Doyt Perry Stadium on the east side) this Saturday, October 4 to join the Falcon Marching Band, cheerleaders, dance team and Freddie & Frieda in welcoming the BGSU Football team prior to their Homecoming 2008 showdown with Eastern Michigan. Team buses will arrive accompanied by a police escort at 2:00 p.m., and the BGSU Football players and coaches will proceed down the main walkway toward The Doyt in the Falcon Football Team Walk. Following the team walk, the Falcon Marching Band will perform a 15-20 minute pre-game show.

BGSU and Eastern Michigan face-off in what is also the Falcons' 2008 MAC Opener, with kickoff set for 4:00pm. Great seats are still available in advance online (until 9:00 a.m. ET Saturday) by going to BGSUFalcons.com and by calling 877-BGSU TICKET. Advance single-game ticket prices are $3 lower at all seat/price levels compared to walk-up prices day of game. Will Call will open at 1:00 p.m. at the south ticket booth on the east side of The Doyt (requires Photo I.D. for ticket pick-up), with remaining available tickets going on sale at all stadium ticket booths beginning at 2:00pm.

The Walk is awesome!

Well, not quite as awesome as the tailgating, in general, but it's definitely a "can't miss." We love being there, cheering on the team.

I have seen "the walk," and wish to say that the team does indeed walk. Typically left foot, then right foot, and so on. But some go with right foot, left foot, etc.

Indeed, it is not just a catchy title!

Of all the Homer Simpson avatars you've used... this one terrifies me the least.

Don't know what I'm more upset about; thinking about the naked Homer avatar hammb used to have or the fact I was thinking the same thing as TG.

Probably the second one.

Leaked Simpson's Halloween Clip

Nothing to do with football, but then again, this thread didn't have much to do with football anymore either. ;-)

DOH!
