I'd say he'll be there awhile. He passed up his "dream job", and is now at a top flight (or potentially top flight) BCS program. I think his next step is if he proves himself at UF and has any desire to try the NFL somewhere down the line. The only way he leaves for another college program is MAYBE if OSU or UM open up, or if ND comes back in a few years with even more money and lets him give players whatever GPA he sees fit to get them in pads.

If he wins a national title, and Notre Dame cleans up its own mess, I could see Urban winding up in South Bend in 7 years. But then UF would try to pay through the nose to keep him. Either way, he didn't close the door to Notre Dame given his comments. And given the way they have kept asking people that have said no to them, Notre Dame might wind up asking again someday.

I think Coach Meyer burned his bridges at ND. Read the editorial at NDNation, their message board. He will succed in Florida. He has a proven but demanding system and has the personal discipline to make it work.
