Motor City Bowl.

So who is waiting to find out something bad is going to happen with the game? If not this year, than next season?

Have to say, that seems inevitable. The auto industry is deeply entwined with the event.

Lets see. Motor City Bowl, with that industry about ready to die. The GMAC Bowl, with the credit implosion. The International Bowl....in Canada. Not sure what their issue would be, but it is what it is.

Could the economy eat all three bowls? If GM does buy-off Chrysler from Cerebus, they might keep sponsorship of the GMAC bowl.

I'm not sure the sponsorship value in the MCB. It becomes like cruel joke now.

The hosts on Bloomberg asked why GM couldn't simply configure in such a way to function strictly as an international company, implying they shutter their entire North American market. The person being talked too said they could. I'm curious if GM could really shutter all of its NA operations, and focus strictly on international sales where it is doing well. Somehow that doesn't seem possible.
