Again, just for comparisons sake, The Citadel drew 11,190 this past Saturday vs. Georgia Southern with their more expensive range of tickets.
BG drew 10,411 with cheaper tickets and a ticket deal available.

I don't think the price is too high to see BGSU play.
However, I don't think the prices are fan friendly given the historic prices we've known. But this is about fighting to get the prices up, which the athletic depart must do. BGSU will always have smaller venues. The crowds will always be smaller. More has to be earned from less. Having a 10,000 crowd at $18 a head, hurts a lot less than the same number at $9.
The danger is in push prices higher, and assuming you can draw a solid 15-20k with a solid three or four years of winning, you drive away the poorer folks from around BG, then have some bad games/years, and that high paying crowd doesn't buy season tickets, doesn't show up at the gate, and the poorer fans won't pay the money to attend. Even if you drop the prices, odds are you don't draw well, and you set back the drive to hold prices high.
This creates a new dynamic in a program. It hikes expectations that coaches produce through their programs.
