What's Left?

Post by Rollo83 »

I have been one of the more critical posters on this board in regards to Greg Brandon.

Most of my criticism centers around his inability to get his teams prepared to play on a weekly basis. You just never know which team is going to show up. A sure sign of a poorly coached team.

Like many here, I've alos been critical of his inability to make in-game adjustments. Too many times he gets out coached, especially in the second half.

Now his poor game management skills have been exposed. To lose up 14 with under 3 minutes to play in inexcusable.

Add in the lack of discipline by his players both on and off the field and I just wonder what things are still on the positive side of the ledger for Greg?

He still has a pretty creative offensive scheme...although the play calling has been questionable at best at times.

He seems to be able to recruit the skill players needed to run his offense...but recruting on the defensive side of the ball is still highly questionable.

If you were a recruit coming out of high schoool right now, would you want to walk into this situation at BG?

Funny, but I was a Dan Dakich guy to the end because at least Dan was a quality person. Brandon's comments after the game last night don't reflect loyalty or character. This program has no leadership.
