Maybe this was going through Brandon's head at the end of first OT?
My friend Toledo Tom went for 2 against Fresno in OT, didn't make it, and ended up losing his job (not from that game but lost it in general) I can't do that. I need this job. With the tough economy I may not be able to secure a job for sometime. Guess I will kick it and hope Buffalo messes up.
On a different note, not sure if this is confirmed, but I just got a call from a friend earlier heading to a UM-OSU party in Toledo and they said Brandon is no longer flying his BG flag outside and the football helmet fixed to his door has been taken down. Not sure what that all means. Did he take it down because it was snowing? Someone rip it down? Or did he take it down before some damaged it?

Well, let me rephrase: I thought the percentage of the defense stopping them was small.hammb wrote:If you knew your defense could not stop them, why would you not go for 2 in the first overtime so gaining the 2 yards actually gains you the win?Schadenfreude wrote:I agreed with the decision to go for it on 4th and 2 in the second overtime. The Falcon defense clearly wasn't going to stop the Bulls, as we found out one play later.
One could argue that going for two in the first OT would also have been the right decision. I wouldn't have made it, but I can see the logic and wouldn't be complaining about a call like that.
(Especially if it had won the game, naturally.)
