UT Announces Gregg Brandon Fan Appreciation Day

In light of Gregg Brandon's inability to generate adequate fan support at Doyt Perry Stadium, UT President Dr. Lloyd Jacobs has declared Friday, November 28th as "Gregg Brandon Fan Appreciation Day" in the Glass Bowl. In addition Coach Brandon will be honored as Toledo's "12th Man" prior to kickoff at Friday's UT-BGSU game.

That date was originally set to be "Tom Amstutz Fan Appreciation Day", however Dr. Jacobs, AD Mike O'Brien, and Coach Amstutz felt so sorry for Coach Brandon's lack of fan support at BGSU that they jointly agreed this honor was absolutely necessary.

"I was clearly moved by Coach Brandon's incessant whining and berating of his own fan base. No one should have to endure that lack of fan support", Coach Amstutz commented.

When reached for comment Brandon stated "Cha-Ching, they got this one right, I'm looking forward to playing in a real stadium with real fans".

When I read that article I ALMOST see where GB is coming from...but he must not realize that the game was at 6 on a friday night, which is one of the worst times for a game i have ever heard of. but he still should have watched his words and focused on the mistakes he made instead of the crowd.
