I was listening to the radio yesterday on my way home and they were discussing what their bowl matchups would be like with their top 20 teams. And one of the two guys doing the show put BG against Iowa. He didn't put Toledo, Miami, or NIU in against anyone else. I'm not sure if I would put us in the top 20 teams, but he did decide to put BG in there instead of the two that were in the MAC championship. Obviously he thought that BG was a better team also.

Disclaimer- I am not saying this to discredit our loss to the Rockettes, just what another sports talk radio guy thought all the way down in Texas.

I believe that most feel we are the more exciting team from the MAC and that makes us more marketable. I also think alot of folks believe we are the better team, but didn't get it done on the field. I will give UT credit for being one of the best comeback teams this season. I will reserve my comments on NIU, but wish that game had been later in the season. I strongly feel the West top 3 were all better than the Ease this year.

Deal with it..late in year or early a loss is a loss. We won you didn't.

So true and I give both NIU and UT credit for beating BG this year.

Next yr, we get you both at the Doyt.

I gave UT credit, but reserved my comments on NIU...so here it is, job well done on winning the game that we played so "early" in the season. Yes, you won the game. Yes, we lost the game. Anyway, I still wish we had played that game later in the year. Not saying we would have won, but I would love to have seen the outcome.
