Broncos placed their fifth running back on injury reserve this year as Peyton Hillis torn his hamstring on Sunday.
That means Tatum Bell and PJ Pope are the only two running backs on the current roster. However, the Broncos did sign rookie running back Cory Boyd from South Carolina to their practice squad last week. They are expected to promote him to the active roster this week.
I just read Shanahan's weekly press conference and he mentioned every back but PJ. I just don't understand why they continue to ignore PJ? When he played earlier against Atlanta this year he look good. He must be showing them something in practice that keeps them from having full confidence in him? Maybe not picking up blitzes? Maybe a lack of speed?

Yeah, I forgot about Young. He's been inactive the last two weeks with a groin injury. Not sure when he'll be ready to return? Shanahan didn't mention him in his pr4ess conference either.Warthog wrote:Selvin Young is still there.Rollo83 wrote:That means Tatum Bell and PJ Pope are the only two running backs on the current roster.
