BOO RADLEYS Roll Call

Post by MobileBama »

Doesn't look like I'll be making it down to Mobile Tuesday night, but definitly planning on having a good time with y'all before and after the game. Also, Boo Radleys is definitly the place to be Tuesday and Wednesday night. My friends are looking forward to meeting y'all Tuesday night at Boo's. But don't hit on the girls!! Ha ha. Make sure every BGSU fan knows to meet at Boos after the parade.

Aren't there fireworks after the parade? I'm sure Noah would rather see that than a crowded bar. :D

M-Bama,
How close to BG's hotel (Mobile Marriott) is Radley's? And how close is it to the parade route, fireworks etc. Sounds like it should be a great time.

It's 4.4 miles from your hotel to Dauphin Street/Boo Radleys. From Dauphin Street/Boo Radleys, the parade, pep-rally and fireworks are all within a few blocks. It's very easy to get around, I just have to stress NOT trying to drive down to Dauphin Street after 5:45. I would take a cab from your hotel. Just tell him you want to go the Dauphin Street/Radisson Hotel area.

Um, why are we not driving? Safety, congestion? Both? I have concerns about flagging down a cab late at night, too. :?

M-Bama,
Thanks for all the help... I think I speak for all of us here at AZZ. We're appreciative of your assistance and looking forward to the days in Mobile. Did I see something that YOU"RE not coming to the game? It'd be a shame not to get to meet you in person if possible.

Taking your own car would be just fine. During the parades, around 5:45, they start to shut down parts of the roads in and around Dauphin Street. I would just hate for you to get caught up in that mess. I suggest you drive to the convention center (where the pep-rally is) and park there, or park at the Riverview Plaza parking deck. Both are located on Water Street and both are very safe and just about the same distance. Once you park at either of these places, you'll be set. (close to parade route, close to Dauphin Street, and right on top of the pep rally)

I will be at the game, as long as I can get a half day. If not, I'll be getting into Mobile right around kick-off, and may just head straight downtown
(Boo Radleys) or Pat's right across the street. I'm hoping to to get to Mobile early enough to tailgate at Ladd and meet some of y'all.
