Assistant Coaches
Assistant Coaches
Just speculating here, but Rothenbuler, Hofher, and Hunter are the only three coaches whose profiles are still active when you click on coaching staff and click on the individual coach at bgsufalsoncs.com. All the others give you a message that that page is no longer active (or something like that). Wonder if that means these three are sticking around and all the rest have been let go?
Just to note also, all three of these guys were on the offensive side of the ball.

I was told last night that the defensive side was all let go yesterday, and the person that told me did not know about the offensive side.
Football Scoop is saying that Coach Clawson is trying to hire Russ Huessman, the DC at Richmond, as his DC, but he is also in the running for the HC at Chatanooga.

I was impressed watching Richmond knock of Northern Iowa last weekend at the UNI-Dome. Not an easy place to win.UT-Chattanooga: We hear search is down to Russ Huesman (Richmond DC) and Jason Simpson (UT-Martin head coach). Sources tell FootballScoop that Dave Clawson is making a strong push to hire Huesman as the defensive coordinator at Bowling Green. Richmond plays in the D-IAA national championship game this weekend, so a decision should come soon.

Saw that game as well. Richmond was down 20-7 and rallied to win...very exciting game. BTW, how many people does that dome hold?
I have a hunch Rothenbuhler, Hofher and Hunter could be on Coach Clawson's staff.

And what does 'the ones still here' mean? The ones I references earlier that still have their profile up on bgsufalcons.com?Metz wrote:I heard today the ones that are still here are staying on staff.

Football Scoop is reporting that Coach Clawson is trying to lure Villanova's OC to Bowling Green.
